Anne Frank House tickets 2026 at a glance

Every visitor needs a ticket with a date and a time slot, bought online from the museum itself. An adult ticket costs €16.50 in 2026. A booking fee of €1.00 is already included, so do not add it again. Children and holders of museum cards also need a time slot.

New dates are released every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. for visits six weeks later. Check the time zone shown in the shop when you plan. There are no tickets at the door. Tickets cannot be passed on, exchanged or refunded, so choose the date with care.

If tickets are sold out

Our take: this walk includes a virtual visit of the house. It does not replace a museum ticket.

The museum offers an optional introduction for €7.00 extra per ticket. It lasts 30 minutes, takes place before the visit and suits ages 10 and up. It is offered in English and Dutch. Tickets exist for ages 0 to 9, but the museum gives a minimum age of 10 for the visit. Check its current guidance before you book for younger children.

How the weekly release works

A date that has not been released is not sold out.

Count six weeks ahead

On a Tuesday at 10:00 the date six weeks later opens. Work back from the day you want to visit and log in on the right Tuesday.

Choose date and slot together

The ticket is for one date and one time slot. Your visit then takes about an hour, with no fixed time limit after you enter.

Know what sold out means

If no ticket can be selected for your date, it is sold out. There is no waiting list. Do not count on extra tickets appearing shortly before your visit.

Buy only from the museum

Beware of look-alike websites. The museum's own site, annefrank.org, links to its shop. Resellers and tours are not a way into the house.

If the date you want is sold out

First, try the dates around it. Neighboring days and other time slots may still have tickets, so look at the whole week before you give up. Then work out which Tuesday opens your preferred date and be ready at 10:00 a.m. There is no waiting list and no guaranteed last-minute quota.

If no date works, there is still a lot to see in the same streets. The Westerkerk church is free to enter. The Jewish Cultural Quarter has its own museums, the Hollandsche Schouwburg and the free Holocaust Names Memorial. A walking tour of Jewish Amsterdam tells the wider story of the city, but it does not replace the museum visit.

What gives entry and what does not

Names such as Anne Frank tour or Anne Frank House cruise do not mean museum entry.

OfferEntry to the museum?Where you book
Museum ticket with audio tourYes, one time slotThe museum's own online shop
Walking tour of Jewish AmsterdamNoThe tour provider
Canal cruise from the PrinsengrachtNoThe boat operator
Jewish Cultural Quarter ticketNo, other museumsThe quarter's own ticket sales

For most visitors the plan is simple: book the museum ticket first, on the Tuesday when the date opens. Add tours, boats and other museums around that slot afterwards.
